Most people do everything they can to avoid it… Even if it means not even trying.
Very few people ever set out to achieve it…
Even fewer people talk about…
But it’s something that will smack each and every one of us in the face regularly…
At least it will if you’re actually pushing yourself and trying to achieve something worth while…
I’m talking about FAILURE!
We’ve all experienced it at some point I’m sure.
And when you do… You’re often told to just dust yourself off and move on…
Well… I’m going to suggest you do the complete opposite…
At least for a short while…
Instead of brushing yourself off and moving on…
I want you to cling onto your failures…
Let them consume you!
At least for long enough to figure out exactly WHY you’ve failed in the first place…
Failure feels shit for the most part…
It’s embarrassing…
Deflating…
And can leave you questioning everything…
But behind all the bad stuff it brings…. There’s a hidden power….
It’s something that the top performing Recruitment and Search Firm Owners know how to unlock and they’ve been using it to get ahead…
The hidden power comes from extracting and learning lessons from each failure so you DON’T keep getting smacked in the face.
So you don’t keep failing for the same reasons!
And so that you can change gear and put your foot to the floor and accelerate the RESULTS in your Recruitment or Search Business and your life.
I’ve fallen short of some targets I had set myself for this quarter… I’m not too far off, but falling short is falling short…
I didn’t achieve what I set out to achieve… It’s failure…
Sure, it could be worse…. But I was aiming for better.
And for me personally…. The biggest lessons I’ve learn from failure recently is this…
The reason I failed was…. I simply wasn’t willing to do the simple, required actions on a consistent enough basis to get what I want…
It’s the same for most the Recruitment and Search Firm Owners I speak to…
You see… When you’ve got a proven plan to follow, the difference between success and failure is really as simple as following through with the plan.
Don’t stick to the tasks and you’ll fall short… Simple as that.
And we can all come up with a wealth of excuses as to why we we’re unable to follow through with any given action.
But at the end of the day, they’re just excuses… (trust me I’ve got loads)
So I have two options…. I can either choose to ignore it and move on… Or a can choose to learn from it to ensure I don’t get smacked in the face again.
So my guess is, you’ve probably failed before… Perhaps you’ve fallen short of some targets you’ve set in your Recruitment or Search Business….
You failed for one of two reasons.
1. You didn’t have a proven plan to get you from point A to point B
2. You weren’t willing to do the work required
