You’ve probably heard the saying before “you don’t ask you don’t get”… Or at least something similar…
As simple as it sounds… It’s actually excellent advice!
And it just might hold the secret to getting everything you want in your Recruitment or Search Business…
Because the truth is, although it is possible to get what you want without asking, you stand a far better chance if you actually take control of the situation rather than relying on luck and hope and just ask the question…
What I’ve found is, most the Recruitment and Search Business Owners who approach me have simply stopped asking for what they want…
They want higher fees…
They want better terms…
They want retainers and exclusives rather than contingency job orders…
They want their employees to conduct themselves in a certain way…
They want to get paid faster AND on time…
They want the clients they’re working with to give them more assignments…
They want more referrals, testimonials and introductions…
They want more!
But instead of simply asking for what they want, they do nothing but HOPE things will fall into place on their own…
And they’re left disappointed….
Think about it… When the last time you actually met with a new prospect and asked for the Business for the fee you really think you deserve and on the terms you really want?
When’s the last time you approached an old client and asked for a higher fee?
When’s the last time you approached an old contact to see if they could introduce you to any potential new leads?
If you want better results in your business start asking!
