General Elections in the UK yesterday…
Conservatives won…
And people (predictably) aren’t happy about it…
On my Facebook, some people sound legitimately depressed with the result…
But if another party had won… A different group of people wouldn’t be happy about that either…
Politicians seem to cause a lot of misery no matter what they do.
They seem to stir up a lot of hate in people.
But why?
Is it because they lie?
Is it because they’re selfish?
I don’t know what the answer is… I guess everyone has his or her own reasons…
But I suspect that one of the reasons politicians and politics, in general, gets people so riled up is because many people believe, the politicians are responsible for their financial well-being…
They’ll say things like…
“They’ve messed up our country.”
“It’s their fault.”
“It’s not fair…”
All these things may be true…
But if you’re one of the smart Recruitment or Search Business Owners I speak to, you should be working hard to make any and every action of the politicians as irrelevant to your personal life and business life as possible…
The government are not going to save you!
And even if they say they’re going to, do you really want to place your future success in the hands of a politician?
I hope not…
Your success and quality of life is down to one person and one person only…. you!
Your business success is down to one person and one person only… you!
And as a fully-grown adult…You’re the only person you should be relying on…
The sooner you stop looking elsewhere for your saviour, the better!
The quicker you take the reins of your own business success and financial future, the better.
