Rules of your Recruitment Business

If you want a more profitable Recruitment or Search Business, that gives you more freedom and financial reward… there’s a mantra you should live by:

“My Business, my rules…”

It’s sounds simple and obvious but it’s something very few Recruitment and Search Firm Owners actually adhere to…

They might say or even think they do… But when you observe their behaviour you’ll notice something completely different…

I had been a business owner for 10 plus years before I actually “got this”

I set up my business to give me freedom…

But deep down I was being governed by things and people that weren’t me…

I set my prices based on what I thought my potential clients and competitors thought my services were worth. and not what I thought my services were worth…

I let my consultants walk all over me and had no control over my team…

I didn’t market and promoted my business the way I wanted to because I was scared of upsetting or offending someone…

I wasn’t really “running” my business… I might have been the one doing all the work and taking all the risk, but it was being run by things, people and circumstances who ultimately shouldn’t have had any say in the way I operate…

This is something I see a lot of Recruitment and Search Firm Owners doing still today…

Ultimately… We all set up in business on our own to achieve freedom!

The freedom to do what you want to do, when you want to do it, with whom you want to do it with and only if you want to do it at all…

At lot of this freedom comes from the financial reward of running a profitable business…

But you only really get to experience that freedom if you run your business on your own terms…

And not someone else’s…
