Should you be charging more?

 

One of the smartest things you can do if you want to increase the revenue and profits in your Recruitment or Search Business is adopt a premium pricing strategy…

It doesn’t take a genius to work out; if you charge more for the work you’re currently doing, you’ll be a lot more profitable…

And for the most part, all it takes is a decision…

Starting today, you can literally decide you’re going to increase your fees, and you’ll pretty much see success overnight…

That being said, it’s one of the areas I get the most objections…

And I get it….

Because how do you know your clients will pay?

What if they say no and buy from one of your competitors instead?

What if all your clients leave and never buy from you again?

How can you get your consultants on board?

These are all questions I get from Recruitment and Search Firm Owners when the subject of increasing fees ever comes up…

And in truth, these are all questions I’ve asked myself over the years…

So there’s no doubting it, increasing your fees, although it’s as simple as making a decision, it also takes some massive guts!

Which is why most people don’t do it often enough…

And this is one of the reasons I was so impressed with one of my new clients, Steven Mower…

He’s a Search Firm Owner based in the UK whos previous fee was £7K…

But he knew he was worth more, knew he deserved more, he knew that charging more would help his clients (the more a client pays, the more committed they are to the process which enables you to get them better results) AND had the guts to do something about it…

So he increased his fees from £7K to £21K… Literally overnight….

And the first time he told a potential client his new fee, he got a YES…

They agreed to his fee even though it was 4x higher than what he had been previously charging….

That’s how easy it CAN be… If you do it in the right way…
