I read that quote a while back, and I thought it especially applied to us in the Recruitment or Search industry…
Most business owners I speak to, no matter what level they’re currently performing at, know deep down that they are nowhere near their full potential…
For most… If they’re brutally honest with themselves, when it comes to their business growth and profits, they’re barely scraping the surface…
They’re playing at it… That’s not to say they don’t work hard, in fact quite the opposite is true!
They work hard, but in the wrong areas.
So despite putting the hours in, end up in the exact same place…
Treading water…
… If you’ve got no ambition to drive your business forward, that’s fine…
But for a lot of the Recruiters I know, treading water feels like drowning!
I’m not only throwing you a life jacket here… I’m throwing you a life jacket bundled with a super-sized yacht and a helicopter pad on the top deck…
