But most of the Recruitment and Search Business Owners I speak to don’t even know what business they’re in…
They tend to think they’re in the “Recruitment” or “Search” business.
And I wouldn’t be surprised if you thought the same thing too….
Well…
You’d be wrong…
It’s an easy mistake to make…. But the real business you’re in is the marketing and selling business….
We all are!
So the Recruitment or Search Business owner isn’t really in the business of “recruitment”… They’re in the business of MARKETING and SELLING recruitment….
They same way a Photographer isn’t really in the photography business…. They’re in the business of MARKETING and SELLING photography…
Or the Window cleaner isn’t in the window cleaning business…. They’re in the business of MARKETING and SELLING window cleaning.
And the same can be applied to any and every industry….
Failing to understand this is one of the biggest reasons Recruitment and Search Firm owners struggle to move their business forward…
They concentrate on getting better at recruiting rather than getting better and MARKETING and SELLING recruitment…
There’s an enormous difference between the two…
You see, getting better at the recruiting process will only make the clients you’ve already got happy…
But it won’t win you any additional business; it won’t mean you generate more leads, and it won’t mean you win more sales…
If you want to make more sales, increase your profits and take your business to the next level. Then MARKETING and SELLING is what you need to get better at.
It’s easy to make the mistake of thinking that marketing and selling are just a small part of what you do… When in fact, if you want to drive your business forward it’s the very core of what you do….
And neglecting it could end up costing you thousands in the year ahead…
